A Glimpse at Lee's History 

 Lee came to me as a 10 week old bundle of joy & promise.  His smiling face and just the way he carried himself made you sense there was something very special about him.  As the years have passed he has found a way to exceeded every hope and dream I ever had for him.

As a puppy his show career went swiftly winning five majors including wins from three midwestern collie specialties. At 5yrs of age, it became clear that he had  much more to accomplish.  It was decided that he would return to his beginnings at Tartanside, where in limited showing he won Best In Specialty Show, two herding group 1sts,  and his 1st CCofA Award of Merit.   His heritage is known for it's timeless beauty and he has held true.  He  returned to the CCofA Nationals in 2007 & 2008 to win the Veterans class two years running and a second Award of Merit. In 2009 we tried something different and entered the stud dog class where he received third in the class of 10 entries. Not bad for an 11 year old!

Throughout his career he has also shared so much with so many others through his siring abilities.   To date he has sired 39 Champions with many more to come in the near future.  He sired the Winners Dog at the 2006  and 2009  CCofA Nationals along with many  others who have prestigous wins to their credit as well.  His offspring are easy to recognize as you will see that familar twist of elegance and beautiful round muzzle that Lee is so well known for.   It is our hope that Lee will leave a legacy that will be a true credit to the Collie Breed.
